In Kilkenny City, we give visitors the opportunity to experience hurling at The Field Bar, the ultimate sporting bar in the city..
Here we give visitors a presentation information them of the history and rules of Hurling. Once visitors are up-to-date on the basics of Hurling and what it means to the community, we bring them to the nearby Hurling field to try the sport for themselves. Our coaches teach visitors the ground-stroke, hand-pass, solo-run, and hand strike. Visitors will realise that this sport isn't as easy as some of the top players make it look.
