Overview

The ultimate objective of Quiksilver Bali Surf Academy is to bring our customers a fun, calming and professional surfing experience. We launched in June 2016 and are proud to offer more than 25 years of both professional and surf industry knowledge through Australian ex-surfing professional Holly Monkman and her husband local Balinese pioneer Made Switra.

We guarantee to provide our patrons smaller and more concentrated surf lessons, with one instructor for every four participants as well as a maximum of 12 students per class.

Our teachers are all trained and certified under the ISA, suggesting that they are expert like all other western surf schools. Additionally, we make sure that all of our trainers are passionate surfers, confident ocean swimmers and implement surf safety in all of our surfing services - be it a lesson or a Surfaris Boat tour.

What To Expect

Itinerary

Our Intro To Surf Lesson is for those wanting to try surfing before investing in a 2-hour lesson, as well as younger children who may be too cold or tired in the longer session. This 1-hour course will teach you the basics of riding waves in white water, how to stay safe while surfing and build your confidence to surf with a smile.

Lessons are held at various times based on the daily swell, tide and weather conditions to ensure maximum fun and safety.
