Overview

Visit a local village, meet the locals and walk in a seaweed farm! This tour takes you to Jambiani village, where you will have the chance to experience rural Zanzibar life. The tour is planned in cooperation with the village and includes donations. You will have a visit to a seaweed farm, meet the local herbal doctor (subject to change*) and see how the women make ropes out of coconut shell tusks. You will learn about Zanzibarian handicraft and end of the tour you´ll have delicious local cuisine. *The local herbal doctor is available on request for bookings made at least one week advance.
