Hoa Lu is the place where the Vietnamese dynasty was located about 1000 years ago. Now you can see the mausoleum of the first emperor Dinh Tien Hoan and the second emperor Le Dai Hanh, rebuilt in the 17th century.
Tam Coc is a tourist spot where you can go down the river while watching the spectacular view of the strangely shaped rocks. About 100 km from Hanoi, about 2 hours by car. The rock formations that protrude from the countryside create a mysterious world. Because it is similar to the scenery of Halong Bay, it is sometimes called "land Halong Bay".
