    Jo-Namagashi is a high quality Wagashi, a Japanese traditional confectionery, containing more than 30% of water, and created into elaborate beautiful forms. It is often served at tea ceremonies because the excellent artistry of Jo-Namagashi makes it more special compared to other sweets. Their appearance, made carefully and delicately, resembles seasonal flowers or Japanese seasonal traditions, and represents Japanese aesthetic.
    One Jo-Namagashi, Nerikiri, made of bean paste, sugar and rice flour, is relatively easy to work with and mold into any number of shapes. Please join us for our Jo-Namagashi making workshop!
