Overview
From Aristotle’s scriptures and Greek mythology is it obvious that Greece has a long standing tradition & history of beekeeping.
Greece holds the first place position in the worldwide honey classifications.
Our farm and village has numerous citrus trees, organic agriculture and is rich in flora. The nearby forests of Mt Taygetos allow the bees to create varieties of honey that are rich in nutrients with different appearances, tastes and aromas. Depending on the season & which flowers are in bloom characterizes the quality and type of honey: wild flowers, fir, pine, arbutus, eucalyptus, orange and thyme.
