Karnak and Luxor temples are the largest open-air museum for ancient Egyptian monuments, offering a walking tour through history and the glory of Egypt. A full guided trip of approx. 4 hours to Karnak and Luxor temples in the East Bank of Luxor is available, where you will be picked up from your hotel before arriving at Karnak. This complex of temples was built over a period of roughly 2000 years by various Pharaohs who added their own additions, such as the Avenue of Sphinxes, Hypostyle Hall, Obelisks, shrines and pylons. It is considered one of the most beautiful ancient monuments in Egypt. Afterwards you will visit Luxor Temple which is dedicated to the Theban Triad - Amun-Ra, Mut & Khonsu - where granite statues belonging to Ramses II can be found.
