Overview

    Kinabalu Park is Malaysia's first World Heritage Site. Also the Centre of Plant Diversity for South East Asia, the Park boasts more than 5,000 vascular plant species

    Depart from the city hotel. The journey to Kinabalu National Park takes about 1.5 hours drive through scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. On the way, stop by at the Nabalu Fruit Market to buy some fruits and souvenir.

    Upon arrival at 1100hrs, follow the Park Naturalist on a guided trails walk and they will point out the various wonder. Visit the Mountain Garden or Mt Kinabalu Botanical Garden. You may find diverse species of flora from all over the park has been replanted here.

    Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit the Exhibition Hall or you may sign up on the audio-visual shows featuring rare flora and fauna which are found in the park. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu in the afternoon.
