Embark yourself on an extremely educational excursion over the stunning scenery of Lake Kivu, where you will learn hands-on about the coffee growing process and the entire coffee production chain. The excursion takes you to Amahoro island en route to the nearby washing station where you are introduced to the washing process that involves over 20 sophisticated steps. You pick your own coffee cherries and follow through the various steps of coffee washing. Finally, you can roast the coffee on an open fire and enjoy a cup of your own hand-grinded and traditionally roasted Rwandan coffee alongside local coffee farmers.
