Guqin is a plucked seven-string Chinese musical instruments of the zither family. It has more than 2000 years history. Guqin had traditionally been favored by scholars and literati in ancient China.Although it was very polular in anciend Chinese daily life , but most of Chinese peole are not familiar with Guqin nowadays ,it is gruadully returnning to public's vision since the appearance at 2008 Olympic opening ceremony.
