Overview

Leonardo’s Vineyard was gifted to Leonardo da Vinci in 1498 by Ludovico Sforza, a former Duke of Milan, who assigned him with the task of creating the iconic masterpiece - The Last Supper. Over the years, the Vineyard soon became one of Leonardo’s most admired places, where he enjoyed growing his own grapes and creating his own wines.

Today, visitors can rediscover this hidden gem either on an Italian or English guided tour, led by a knowledgeable local. If you prefer to explore at your leisure, you can opt for our entry ticket and audio guide, offering you valuable insights into the attraction’s history. With either option, you can stroll through the house, vineyard, garden and greenhouses, and even marvel at the original vines that were re-planted many years ago!

During your time in Milan, it’s certainly a worthy visit and one of the most exciting stories you’ll ever hear about a vineyard.
