    During your Private Walking Tour of Memphis you'll learn the history of the city, how it was formed and what has made it the city it is today.

    Dating back to the 19th-century you'll hear how Black enterprise and commerce flourished against all odds and stories of B.B. King, Martin Luther King and Beale Street Blues. Beale Street is an iconic street in Memphis where blues music has been played in pawnshops, theatres, restaurants and clubs for over a century.

    The tour includes entrance into the National Civil Rights Museum where you'll be immersed in America's history and enjoy an hour's tour including the complexity of Civil Rights. You'll be shown the Lorraine Motel where Martin Luther King was killed on 4th April in 1968 and hear how it continues to play a key role in pushing for America's Civil Rights. Your tour ends here but you're welcome to continue to look around in your own time.
