Overview

This is a funny bike ride from Lucca to Pisa, from Lucca walls to the leaning tower of Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa. The tour is about 34km, mostly in the nature and countryside, with only a total of 2 km along normal streets. We usually take about 4 hours including the stops. We follow the white roads along the river in Lucca and along small streams on Pisa plain to reach San Giuliano Terme where we have a long nice break. In the central square there's a bar, pastry store and deli/pizza shop (foods and drinks not included). From there, Pisa is not far and we will ride along an old acquduct to enter the town and meet the famous tower... we take last photo with our nice guide, maybe holding the leaning tower, and then we cross the center to go to we leave our bikes just near the train station in our special deposit...so you are free to visit Pisa by your own, as long as you like and coming back to Lucca (or Florence) easily by local train..
