Overview

This is ONLY FOR ADVENTURERS who want to explore the RN5 from Tamatave, Mananara to Maroantsetra by 4x4. The Offroad between Soanierana and Maroantsetra is difficult but the scenery is very beautiful. Each experience along the road is unique like the snorkeling at Nosy Atafana, and the visit of Roger island to spot the aye-aye or Daubentonia Madagascariensis. Once in Maroantsetra, we will have an excursion to Nosy Mangabe special reserve to see endemic species including the eastern woolly lemur (Avahi laniger), white-fronted lemur (Eulemur albifrons), black-and-white ruffed lemur (Varecia variegata) and gray mouse-lemur (Microcebus murinus). After this adventure, you may organize a trip to Masoala if you wish to see more species that are difficult to find like the varecia rubra, and helmet vanga. The area is also known for vanilla, coffee, cinnamon, cloves, and rice plantation. This proposal is a very fair price as the 4x4 must go back along the same extreme road up to Antananarivo.
