Overview

This is a 35-minute flight that encompasses all the main geographic features in the Aoraki Mt Cook National Park by circumnavigating Aoraki/Mt Cook, our highest peak at 12,349 feet. Mt Cook is the centre of the national park and this circular flight takes in all the iconic geographic features that this region of NZ has to offer.

You will see the longest glacier in NZ, the Tasman Glacier, on the eastern side of the main divide. We will then cross the main divide to the West Coast and take in the Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glacier. We will circle back onto the eastern side of the Southern Alps into the Hooker Valley before returning back into the Tasman Valley to land back where we started.

This is a fantastic flight that condenses the best of NZ’s scenery into an unforgettable experience. We look forward to showing you what this area has to offer!
