Spend time in the Walled Old Town Centre, within the Venetial Walls, wander in Laiki Yitonia with it's narrow streets, handicraft shops, traditional restaurants and coffee shops. Enough time is given to cross the line (also known as the "Green Line") that divides the Capital of Cyprus into the southern Greek Cypriot region and the northern Turkish Cypriot region since the Turkish invasion of 1974.
