Overview

Start your journey into the deep sea with PADI's Discover Scuba Diving program in Sharm el Sheikh. Marvel at the vibrant coral reefs and exotic wildlife found in the Red Sea – it's breathtaking! This introductory program, led by a PADI-certified instructor, consists of a theory lesson, pool session and an open-water dive in the Red Sea. After completing this program, you'll be eager to learn more about diving!

What To Expect

On Day 1, in the afternoon you will acquaint yourself with scuba theory using digital resources; following this, you'll fit your scuba gear and go with our instructor to a private dive pool. Here, you'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving and take your first breath underwater. On Day 2, in the morning, we'll be heading to the Red Sea for your very first open water dive - a shore dive at one of our renowned house reefs: Far Garden or The Temple.

Additional Information

• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Please bring your passport for the check-in at the dive center.
• Minimum age is 10 years
• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended
• All participants are required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving; some pre-existing medical conditions (e.g. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving; please consult your doctor
• Dive is subject to weather conditions
• It is recommended that you bring/wear your swimsuit, sunscreen, a hat, towel and water; you may also bring packed snacks
