PADI Discover Scuba Diving

Overview

For those looking to take a plunge into the Red Sea while vacationing in Sharm el-Sheikh but don't have enough time to get certified, Pyramids Diving Center offers a guided full-day ocean dive. It is not an official scuba certification course, but it does provide an easy and practical introduction to the underwater world with the supervision of a Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) member. All necessary diving equipment, as well as buffet lunch and soft drinks, are provided on one of Pyramids' own boats. Hotel pickup and drop-off are also included.

What To Expect

Enjoy 2 dives from the shore with our PADI Instructor, receive the basic knowledge and skills. This program does not award any certifications, but if you decide to pursue a Scuba Diver or Open Water certification these dives will count towards it.

• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Not recommended for travelers with back problems
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers

• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Minimum age is 10 years
• Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
• A current valid passport is required on the day of travel and you need to bring with you on the day
• Towels also required
• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
