Stop At: Perge Ancient City, Aksu, Antalya 07110 Turkiye
Start the day by visiting Perge, where many of the statues now on display in the Antalya Museum were found. This ancient Pamphylian city was first settled by the Hitites around 1500 BC and was visited by St Paul during his first missionary journey. Take a look at its attractive city gate flanked with two towers, its long colonnaded road which was once lined with shops and paved with mosaics as well as its impressive theatre stage with finely carved marble reliefs. Afterwards head to Kursunlu Waterfalls where you can enjoy breathtaking views while being refreshed and relaxed. After lunch near the river continue on to Aspendos – one of Anatolia's best preserved Roman theatres – where you will be amazed by its architecture and acoustics.
