On this tour I will unveil to you the secrets of Fátima, its Sanctuary and the untold history only known by the local people since my family and ancestors are from that area.
Fátima is the religious capital of Portugal and is the place where Our Lady appeared to the 3 children on the 13th. of May 1917, two of them, Francisco and Jacinta - beatified by John Paul II on May 13, 2002.
Almost 6 Million people visit Fátima all year round.
The new Basilica of the Holy Trinity is considered to be the 4th. biggest Catholic temple in the world with almost 9. 000 seats. The Church has been designed by Greek Orthodox architect.
In the front side of the altar, there is a piece of marble from the tomb of the Apostle Peter (over which the Basilica of the St. Peter was built, in the Vatican)
We will end our holy tour near to Fátima, at Valinhos, we will see the houses of the 3 shepherds.
