What To Expect

Enjoy an unforgettable day uncovering the mystery of Tutankhamun, the most renowned king in history. You will be accompanied by an Egyptologist tour guide to take you back in time and shed light on this famous pharaoh. In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel or harbor in central Luxor and travel by air-conditioned vehicle for a guided 5 hour trip to the Necropolis of Thebes - Valley of the Kings. Here, you will revisit four royal tombs including those of Ramses, Horemheb, Merenptah and King Tut’s Tomb which was discovered intact in 1922 by Howard Carter. Afterwards, you can explore Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple (Deir el Bahari) before heading to see the Colossi of Memnon statues that date back to King Amenhotep III's era. Finally, visit Ramesses IX's tomb with its vibrant paintings before being taken back to your accommodation.
