What To Expect

You will be picked up from your hotel between 4-5:30am and transported to Cairo Airport for an early flight to Luxor. After arrival, you will meet your guide and head to the west bank city of dead - the funerary complex of the ancient Egyptians. Here, you'll visit the Valley of Kings with its 63 registered tombs and three recent discoveries. Then, it's on to the Hatshepsut Temple - a unique mortuary edifice built in terrace formation into a cliff face by Egypt's famous female pharaoh who wore a false beard and all trappings of male pharaohs. Next, take in two statues at Memnon before crossing the Nile for lunch at a local restaurant (drinks not included). Finally, explore Karnak Temples - one of Egypt's major sites with its sacred energies still palpable - as well as Luxor Temple (Temple of the Gods). Afterwards, return to Cairo Airport for your evening flight back before being taken back to your accommodations.
