Salt & lake district - Salzkammergu, district, where Salzburgs Prince Archbishops held royal hunts and the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph and his family spent their summer vacations, is always worth a trip. The tour leaves Salzburg and passes by Lake Fuschl with its beautiful castle Fuschl, now a five star hotel, on its shores. We then explore the little town of St. Gilgen, where Mozart's mother was born and then continue our journey to St. Wolfgang. There you explore the famous pilgrimage church with its carved gothic winged altar by Michael Pacher and there will be some time to see the beautiful old houses of this picturesque town or have a coffee break on the terrace of one of the typical restaurants. After that we continue our journey and drive along lake Mondsee to the famous sound of music wedding church before returning to Salzburg, all this with your private driver and private guide for your safety in an exclusive type of transport.
