We still meet several classic species of alpine lakes, such as Great Cormorants, a Gadwall in the middle of Mallard Ducks, or a discreet Reed Sparrow. A European Robin also makes us happy perching near or feasting on berries, sometimes within easy reach of our group. Enough to make nice images.
We will take a few hours to discover both Réserve de Cudrefin and Réserve du Fanel where many bird species can be seen.
After that, we will go to Pro Natura Centre Champ-Pittet. We will have an early lunch there at the Café-Restaurant Champ-Pittet, and then spend a couple of hours in this beautiful nature center watching and photographing the birds of the Grande Cariçaie. We will finally explore a third birding hotspot of Lake Neuchâtel before heading back to our meeting point. The day trip will end in the late afternoon.
