We will pick you up in Medellin in an air-conditioned private SUV or 12 Seater Vans depending on the size of our group. Relax during the scenic journey to the small town of old Guatapé, where you see a replica of the now underwater town. Arrive at the picturesque pueblo and stroll the quaint cobbled street alongside your knowledgeable guide, browsing local stalls for artisan treasures as you wander. Admire colorful colonial buildings, then prepare for a 702 step climb up to the top of El Penol with your guides. After you reach the summit, which stands at 7,000 feet above sea level and take in the views of the vibrant and verdant islands that decorate the deep blue lake, capturing the unearthly landscape on camera. Our guides are available to take photos of you and help you where you need them! We then head over to our local lunch (included) before boarding our vehicle and enjoying a trip to the new town of Guatape, where we will have a cup of coffee before heading back to Medellin.
