Meet your guide and chauffeur at your hotel (or train station/ cruise terminal), embark on a 40-minute drive along the winding roads of Mount Vesuvius, with breathtaking scenic views. On arrival at the parking area located 1050 meters above sea level, you can opt to continue on foot up to the crater's peak - an approximately 20-minute climb. Explore the crater and walk around its rim as you soak in the beauty of this natural wonder. After that, you will be driven down to Campania's wine country for a private tour of one of its renowned vineyards producing Lachrima Christi wine. As a grand finale, enjoy a sumptuous tasting menu lunch featuring items such as salami, caciocavallo cheese, bruschetta and Casatiello bread; spaghetti with Vesuvian cherry tomato sauce; pastiera with corn and fresh ricotta cheese; all accompanied by different kinds of exquisite wines.
