Overview
You’ll convene at the base of this mountain on the eastern side of Bogota. Once here you’ll determine which mode of transport to use in order to get to the apex of this famous mountain; either the teleferico (aerial tramway) or the funicular.
No matter what way you decide, there will be marvelous sights along your ascent, and when you reach the peak, you will be able to observe a captivating panorama of the city.
On top, you’ll have plenty of time to walk through numerous markets and souvenir shops full with handcrafted products from different places in Colombia. You can also visit The 17th-century Monserrate Monastery as well as El Señor Caído (“The Fallen Lord”) shrine.
Before heading back down, you'll again have a choice between taking the teleferico (aerial tramway) or using the funicular for one last chance at amazing views.
