Day 1: West bank of Luxor tour

Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt
Valley of the Kings, burial site for the rulers of Thebes (ancient Luxor), you will make a brief stop at the visitors center. Guides are not allowed inside the tombs, however your guide will provide information about what is found within the intricately ornamented chambers. If you desire to visit King Tutankhamun's tomb an additional fee is payable directly.

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut, King Valley Road, Luxor Egypt
Temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt's most notable monuments. Your guide will acquaint you with this temple's history and Queen Hatshepsut's story - a prominent female leader in ancient Egypt who posed as a man to take power. You'll have free time to look around on your own as you observe large courtyards and take in detailed hieroglyphic designs.
