Meet the owners/winemakers at the bodegas and relax with time to appreciate their best wines & maridaje and gain insight into the lesser understood Cava in the cool underground cellars. We travel through rolling landscape of old bush vines, almond & olive trees steeped in a history of viticulture from Phoenican times and also visit the old villa of Requena; a guided walkabout of its 10thC Castle & plaza, Moors caves & Gothic churches of the conquest with opportunity to shop for artisan local products . We visit two unique wineries with different philosophies, both producing Organic wines with "generous" guided tastings of 9-11 wines inc. maridaje of embutido/cheese, estate olive oil.
