The dining room’s ambiance will take you back to 1293, the period wherein these facilities were first used as a festival place and wine- vault for the ancient City Council of Riga. The restaurant’s menu provides a fusion of good food and interesting history. You can try cedar nuts and rabbit meat with prunes that were served in 14th century or have a taste of the barley cake that King Philip I used to eat way back in 11th century. The medieval table can seat up to 15 persons which is ideal for larger groups going out for a stag weekend in Riga.
