    Sandoval Lake
    It is around 3 km long, 1 km wide and up to 3 m deep. Its waters have an average temperature of 26 ºC and have great ichthyological richness. Within its flora there are orchids, plantains, ungurahuis, lupuna, mahogany and Mauritan palm trees up to 30 m high. A great variety of birds like cormorants, toucans, macaws, among others, live in this habitat. There are also tapirs, turtles and otters or river wolves, as well as various species of lizards.
