What To Expect

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product:

Stop At: St. Catherine's Monastery, At the Foot of Mount Horeb, Saint Catherine Egypt

The tour departs from Sharm el-Sheikh at around 20:00. You will then travel in a comfortable bus for 3 hours and arrive at the foot of Mount Horeb. Under the guidance of a guide, there will be a three-hour trek up to 2285 m above sea level.

On the way you will pass through a 700-step stone staircase, which you can ascend with ease or rent a camel to take you for 200 e. pounds if it proves too strenuous. After reaching the top, rest and observe an amazing sunrise before heading down again.

You will then visit St. Catherine's Monastery which has been operating since 16 centuries.
