You'll be amazed and astonished by some 4,200 birds spanning 675 different species from nearly every continent, climate zone and habitat. The park features walk-in halls with different themes, tropical halls and indoor aviaries as well as huge outdoor enclosures, ponds and aviaries. Inside the tropical forest hall you can see exotic birds flying freely above your head, plus unusual cultural artefacts from Indonesia. What's more, this zoological garden is gaining an ever greater reputation for horticulture. From March onwards, you'll be overwhelmed by the sight of millions of flowering bulbs in myriad colours, and by the time the 100,000 tulips are in bloom, you could be forgiven for thinking you're in Holland.
