Overview

Get an immersive day tour of Sweden’s Viking history. You will be picked up from your hotel and travel through the scenic countryside as your qualified tour guide unravel Viking history. You will visit a Viking causeway bridge and enjoy the story of the Viking lord Jarlabanke. Next, you will visit one of the best preserved Viking assemblies and learn about the Viking social culture. By the Viking parliament you have a great view of Lake Vallentuna (photo opportunity) before heading on to Vallentuna church for a shorter visit. After this we head to Granby Viking farm, an archeological site with house foundation remnants from the Viking age. At the farm we will have a coffee break before going onto our last stop in Sigtuna, the oldest Swedish town. Here we will make a guided sightseeing drive and you will have about 45 minutes to walk around on your own in the town before heading back to Stockholm. We will drop you off at your hotel or other preferred location in the city center.
