Perfect for non hikers, and large groups! Once there, your entertaining, and knowledgeable guide, will walk you through remaining once charming family cabins, as he portrays what life was like there, back in the early 1900's. At that time, the resort town of Elkmont, was alive with Knoxville socialites, who partied with local mountain folk, at the ball field, swimming hole, and the two Hotels, where moonshine flowed, like the Little River that ran through the community.  See and hear and see the legendary Bi-Plane crash story, and location.  After the tour, you can take advantage of being close to some great hiking trails.
