Join us for this fascinating citizen-science tour and learn about whales, wildlife and ocean conservation. Participate in micro-plastic analysis and ocean research with our onboard marine experts.
Sailing among the whales in Skjalfandi Bay is the perfect way to get a greater insight into life in the ocean. During the tour, you will learn about the importance of whales in the marine ecosystem. We will use a manta trawl to take samples from the bay, which we will carefully examine in a microscope afterwards. You will also get the chance to learn the old and eco-friendly ways of sailing from our experienced and friendly sailboat crew.
