Note: The monastery is closed from 12th to 15th April.

It is a unique opportunity to explore the holy mountain, where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Climbing up to the peak (2285mt) for an amazing sunrise will be worth your effort! After admiring the sun on top of the mountain, you will visit the St. Catherine's Monastery at its base.

The trip starts between 19:30-21:00 and ends around 14:00. Here are some tips for you:
- wear warm clothes (gloves, hat, jacket) as it gets cold on top;
- take hot drinks in thermos cups and snacks with you since prices there are quite high;
- if you wish, there is an option to rent a camel but for last 750 steps to the summit - only walking allowed.

Attention: please note that due to lack of space in microbus luggage cannot be taken along. Pick up from airport/Royssat bus station/Dahab comes with additional charge.

Climbing the mountain in the dark guided by a tour guide and witnessing sunrise from its peak. Camel rides are available for rent.

Stop At: St. Catherine's Monastery, At the Foot of Mount Horeb, Saint Catherine Egypt

After you take in the sight of sunrise atop Mt. Sinai, the group will proceed to St. Catherine's Monastery located at its base.
