Taroudant half day excursion from Agadir

Overview

Taroudant is one of the oldest cities in Morocco, located southeast of Agadir at 80 km.
We depart at 08:30 and after crossing the plain of Souss, which is lush with agriculture, we stop to observe the goats perched atop argan trees. After a 1h30 drive, we arrive at Taroudant; an old medina surrounded by ramparts that span 8 km and reach from 4 to 5 m in height. We take a stroll around these walls before taking a coffee break in the center of the medina.
Refreshed from our break, we are ready to explore the labyrinthine streets and souks of this ancient city; with its abundance of handicrafts, food products, clothing... it's truly a paradise for admirers of authenticity and an oriental atmosphere.
At the conclusion of our guided tour there will be free time in Asarag Square for some photographs - water sellers, traditional musicians and snake charmers await!

Stop At: Taroudant, Taroudant, Souss-Massa

We come to Taroudant; an old medina surrounded by ramparts with a height of 04 to 05 m. We go around the city walls and pause at the Salam palace; which was once the palace of the Pasha of Taroudant and surrounding area, now converted into a Riad hotel.

Stop At: Sunday Souk, Bab El Khomis, Taroudant 83000 Morocco

We visit the Berber and Arab market to discover artisans' activities.
