Overview

Termessos was a Pisidian city erected atop the lofty Solymos Mountain in the Taurus range, some 30km to the north west of Antalya. It rested upon a natural platform at more than 1000 meters high, while its surroundings boasted only 200 meters above sea level. Considered one of Turkey's best-preserved and untouched ancient cities, Termessos holds within it an unusual synthesis of rare plants and animal species under protection in its designated National Park.

Enveloped by wild vegetation and bounded by dense pine forest, Termessos maintains an aura of peacefulness and undisturbed beauty that sets itself apart from other ancient sites. Its pristine condition has earned it recognition as part of a National Park bearing its name, due to its immense natural and historical value.

What To Expect

Picking up from Antalya hotels at 09:00/09:30, we will travel to Termessos Güllük Mountain located 40 km North-West of Antalya. After a 30 min trek through the breathtaking trees, we will reach the peak of the ancient city Termessos and spend two hours touring it. Altogether, we will have minimum three hours for visiting Termessos. Next, we'll head to Düden Waterfall 14 km northeast from Antalya. There you can walk behinde the cascade in a thrilling experience and explore the National Park for one hour with break for lunch included in tour price. Finally, we'll move back to Antalya and drop off the hotel.
