On this tour you will meet the Topnaar people.
Have the pleasure to hand over much needed supplies from town, as well as have a little chat. Some of the Topnaar speak Afrikaans which your guide can translate for you, or English.
The scenery along this tour is typical of Namibia in that is is beautiful, and looks like no where else on the planet.
This private tour is an outreach to the people living in the part of the Kuiseb river that is in the Namib-Naukluft park. If you want to know what it feels like to directly donate to people in need, this is your chance.
The Topnaar, or #Aionin (In their own language) have been living in the Kuiseb river for as long as they can remember.
Lunch is at the Gobabeb research station, where you can chat to the scientists.
You stop at Vogelvederberg to stretch legs a little and marvel at the rock formations and flat landscape. The last 50km of road to Walvis Bay is thankfully very good, and you can marvel at the landscape unfolding in peace.
