The Cobblestone Museum consists of seven major historic buildings including the oldest cobblestone church (1834) in North America, a cobblestone house (1836), which was once owned by famous publisher Horace Greeley. A third cobblestone building is the Cobblestone Schoolhouse (1849) made of small lake-washed stone. Four wooden buildings complete the campus and include a working blacksmith shop, print shop, harness shop and Farmers Hall (an exhibit of 19th century farm tools). A guided tour is offered in each of our buildings throughout the day. Children to age 12 are free with accompanying adults.
