After picking you up at the hotel, the daily tour goes to Savoca. This ancient Etruscan medieval village has been listed among the “Most beautiful ancient villages in Italy” and it has been set of several movie.
“The Godfather” among the most famous, which can be identified by the famous “Bar Vitelli”, located in the main square and by the Church of San Nicolò, where many famous scenes were shot. You can also admire ruins of an ancient Synagogue, the old town – dating back to Romans – the crypt of Convento of Cappuccini. Then, you will be amazed by the breathtaking view of the whole vallet and Ionian coast in Forza D’Agrò, also popular for its Cathedral. Later you will be in Taormina, where you will discover Corso Umberto, the shopping street, Palazzo Corvaja, the Greek Theater, Piazza IX Aprile, la Torre dell’Orologio, the Cattedrale Fortezza (Duomo), la Badia Vecchia, Palazzo Duca di Santo Stefano and much more.
