The Artists shall take you to four localities where they have their murals, whereby sharing the history of the places and why they love painting there.
We'll take an Uber from the designated meeting point and brief you on the tour. Our tour shall start in the Eastlands area of Nairobi city, where our first destination will be in Baba Dogo at an Art Hub filled with murals, while there we shall talk about the history of this neighbourhood and the impact of street art on the community especially the children.
Our second destination will be at the genesis of Nairobi Street Art and muralism at the famous community estates of Jericho and Maringo, which border each other and here we shall see a plethora of murals painted by many famous artists..
Our third destination will be in the Westlands area,(IBIS Hotel) which is about 30-32 meters high, followed up by the last mural of the tour at the Alchemist Bar, where we shall conclude and have a space for open and informal conversations.
