Tour Oberhausen - Bottrop (from gasometer to tetrahedron)

Overview

At the gasometer we start our tour to the tetrahedron in Bottrop. Past the Sea Life Aquarium, we drive along the Rhine-Herne Canal and not only admire the impressive inland ships, but also other beautiful and interesting structures. After leaving Kanalweg, we quickly pass the Bernepark with its legendary sewer pipes, where you can spend the night. From there it is not far to the Halde Beckstraße. There we go up with our Segways. The dump Beckstraße lies 120 meters above sea level and is 78 meters high. The tetrahedron on it is 50 meters high again. From here you can overlook almost the entire Ruhr area. Steel stairs lead up to the 3 viewing platforms of the tetrahedron. After all tour participants have sufficiently enjoyed the unique view, we leave the heap Beckstraße again, and float back to our starting point at the gasometer.
