Overview

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor to discover the ancient sites. First, visit Abydos—where the ancient Egyptians believed that god (Lord of the Underworld) was buried—to see the Temple of Seti I. Built by King Seti I and completed by King Ramsess II, it lies 420km south of Cairo in Sohag Government and 135km from Luxor. The walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos boast some of Egypt's most beautifully preserved paintings of gods and Pharaohs. Afterward, continue to Dendera and visit the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy located north of Luxor.

What To Expect
