Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt

Heading across the Nile River to the West Bank, you will visit the necropolis of Thebes' ancient city. When you arrive at the Valley of the Kings - burial place of Thebes' kings (ancient Luxor) - there will be a brief stop at its visitors center. Your guide will provide information on what to look out for inside the intricately decorated rooms; if you wish to enter King Tutankhamun's tomb an extra cost must be paid directly.

Stop At: Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari, Kings Valley Rd Deir el-Bahari, Luxor 23512 Egypt

Leaving behind the sweltering sands of the Valley of the Kings, you'll go to see the Temple of Hatshepsut. One of Egypt's greatest monuments, it was built by Queen Hatshepsut who posed as a male in order to ascend to power. With your guide introducing its history and story there is free time for exploring its large courtyards and admiring its hieroglyphic decorations.

Stop At: Colossi of Memnon, Thebes, Luxor Egypt

On your way back to Luxor there will be a short opportunity for photographs at Colossi of Memnon which marks where Amenhotep III's funerary temple used to stand. All that remains are two imposing statues standing tall on West Bank.
