What To Expect
We take the road from the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella, passing through Anza and Aourir - famous for its "Banana Village" nickname given to it by Jimi Hendrix during his travels in Morocco in the 1960s. This popular route is worth a detour, followed by taking the road from Alma, 17 kilometres away from Agadir. This stretch of road is lined with palm trees and stunning vegetation. Once arriving at this paradise valley with its many virtues, we can be delighted only minutes after parking our car. There are around ten little greenish pools between rocky and green massifs. But do not settle here as these first basins are simply just the start; if we go upstream along the river we will encounter numerous almost-private turquoise water basins spread out across at least thirty kilometres.
