Overview

This culinary tour of Turin is perfect for the gourmand! In groups of at least twelve people, you will, over the course of four hours, have the chance to sample a variety of local delicacies in several locations. Your experienced guide will meet you at the Porta Palatina, before leading you to the Porta Palazzo – Europe’s largest open-air food market. Here you will try a variety of cheeses and seasonal fruits.

Next, you will head to a local restaurant in the Roman Quadrilateral for lunch; Agnolotti – a pasta speciality of the Piedmont region - washed down with a glass of local Barolo wine. After lunch you’ll head to the Consolata church; just in front you’ll see the Bicerin café. Here you can taste the soft drink of that name – a blend of coffee, milk and chocolate - in the place it was born!

Finally, you will walk along Via Garibaldi to view the beautiful façade of Palazzo Carignano, as well as have a taste of the Pinguino ice-cream, where it was invented!
