The Kalandula Falls lie in the course of the Lucala River and are one of the highest in Africa with a drop of 105 m. Although the waterfalls outside Angola are not yet well known, they are among the most impressive natural wonders of Angola. The Musseleje Falls are not as impressive as the Kalandula Falls, but with a bit of luck, you can watch the wild animals drinking by the river which makes it a special attraction. The Pedras Negras "black stones" are a mystical place with an interesting history. The Cangandala National Park is the smallest, but one of the best known in the country. Here are particularly many Palanca Negra, the heraldic animals of Angola, settled. Angola is one of the three countries in the world with the highest biodiversity.
