    The Albertina is home to one of the world's largest and most valuable collections of graphic art. This collection, founded in 1776 by Prince Albert of Saxe-Teschen, now includes ca. 65,000 drawings and around one million printed graphic works on paper from all the major artistic periods from late Gothic to contemporary: from Dürer and Michelangelo to Rubens and Rembrandt, and from Klimt, Schiele, and Monet to Picasso, Warhol, and Kiefer.
